Can you think of an object that symbolises a journey that is important to you?

How far would you go -or have already gone- to bring an object from another place closer to your everyday life?

We would like to hear about your stories or fantastical thoughts and see any photographs you may have of your chosen object. Please submit a description of no more than 200 words and one image (optional) to info@mygranddadscar.co.uk by June 1st 2012.

Submissions will be published on the My Granddad’s car website. Our two favourite entries will receive a signed copy of the up-coming My Granddad’s Car artists’ book.
